Trekforce Worldwide: Conservation Expeditions
Expeditions with Trekforce Worldwide last from 4 weeks to 5 months and include volunteer work on projects including carrying out research work, building up the infrastructure of national parks and constructing research and visitor centres. These exciting team-based projects can be taken as part of longer programmes including learning Spanish in Guatemala and teaching in remote schools in the Cayo district of Belize. Every Trekforce project is carried out at the request of, and in cooperation with, a local project partner and with the support of the host government and local community. Before agreeing to take on a project, Trekforce will need to be satisfied that it is both worthwhile and sustainable.
