IES Abroad: David Porter Diversity Scholarship
Named in honor of David Porter, who has served on the IES Abroad Board of Directors since 1995, this scholarship is open to students of diverse cultural backgrounds who have been traditionally under-represented on study abroad programs.

IES Abroad educates students to become global leaders through premier study abroad and internship programs, which offer students worldwide experiential learning opportunities that meet the highest standards of academic quality.
May of each year, October of each year
Up to USD 5,000
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0.
Attend a college or university that is a Member or Associate Member of the IES Abroad Consortium. In addition, home school must have a policy of transferring at least 75% of institutional aid for study abroad.
Accepted to and enrolled in an IES Abroad program.
Diverse background traditionally underrepresented in Study Abroad including: race, sex, color, religion, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, age, marital status, national origin or ancestry, ethnic origin, veteran status.
