Semester at Sea is committed to offering unique service opportunities while sailing on a voyage. As such, the IMPACT scholarship has been established to recognize students demonstrating a commitment to service in their community and home institution and a desire to continue this commitment during a voyage.

USD 3,500 plus funding toward 5 SAS service programs (up to a $500 value).

Eligibility

Enrolled full-time in a degree-granting program at an accredited college/university (domestic or international).

Completed at least one full term at the post-secondary level.

Minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA and in good academic standing.

School’s judicial affairs office must complete a disciplinary clearance form at time of application.

Original essay per application guidelines.

Students whose first language is not English must substantiate their English language proficiency.
