The Globalink Research Award provides an opportunity for faculty at Canadian universities to strengthen existing international research collaborations and connect with colleagues around the world through the mobility of senior undergraduate and graduate students.

Mitacs is a national, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs in Canada for 15 years. Working with 60 universities, thousands of companies, and both federal and provincial governments, they build partnerships that support industrial and social innovation in Canada.
Up to CAD 5,000
Canadian citizen, permanent resident or international student.
Registered for full-time studies at a Canadian university as a senior undergraduate student or graduate student.
Demonstrate skills and interest suitable to the project(s) in question.
Undergraduate student eligibility: completed their second year of studies prior to departure, enrolled in full-time studies and remain as such throughout the duration of the Globalink Research Award, maintain a B average or equivalent thereof.
