To encourage applications from students in financial hardship who would benefit from the MB BS or BDS programme, the trustees of St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College Trust are pleased to offer these new Scholarships to two new medical students and one new dental student each year.

Medicine and Dentistry
No separate application required, as applicant is considered for award upon application
The undergraduate scholarships are worth £5,000 for each of the five years of the course – subject to the holders’ satisfactory progress each year

All students who enrol in the School of Medicine and Dentistry are considered for the Scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of their household income (which is reviewed annually) and the attainment of at least three grade A A-levels taken in the same sitting. Students’ performance in their Fundamentals of Medicine/ Dentistry module (at the end of their first term) will also be a major criterion.
