Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria: Scholarship of the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria for Post-docs
This scholarship is open for Postdocs, working at universities outside of Austria who are descendants of forced labourers (regardless of their country of origin) or come from countries that have exceptionally
suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labourers, wishing to pursue research in Austria. Scholarships are also awarded for research periods at scientific research institutions (e.g.
universities, Austrian Academy of Sciences, National Library, National Archive).

In 2005 the Austrian National Council established the Scholarship Foundation of the Republic of Austria by an Act of Parliament, which is to provide scholarships for all areas of education and further education.
Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Human Medicine, Health Sciences,

Monthly scholarship instalment of EUR 1,040, accident and health insurance if necessary, accommodation (student dormitory or apartment) monthly costs covered from the scholarship, applicants from countries which are neither members of the EU nor members of EFTA or OECD can be granted a travel allowance of up to EUR 500 maximum.

Applicants must not have studied, pursued research or pursued academic work in Austria in the last six months before taking up the grant.
Age limit: 40 years at the time of application submission.
