Azimut: Volunteer Program in Madagascar
Dealing with an environmental issue is no easy task and you can quickly realize how little can be achieved on an individual basis. Ending environmental deterioration caused by poverty is complicated and requires the skills, experience and creativity of many participants.
ONG Azimut was created in 2010 to bring a positive and sustainable change to this unfortunate situation: we bring together people and organizations of varying skill and expertise who share the same values to search for sustainable solutions to the following dilemma: how to keep an intelligent balance between conserving natural resources and improving the well-being of the people who depend on them. By developing long-term partnerships with both local and international organizations and by welcoming volunteers and interns from all over the world, we are able to provide the skills and resources required to contribute to these efforts. We do not expect immediate results that are often fleeting, but rather adapted actions to ensure a sustainable development.
We are looking to recruit self-sufficient individuals within different fields of expertise to build teams that are well adapted to the projects we are working on. If you possess the skill sets that we are seeking, Madagascar is the perfect environment to fully realize your potential. The members of our team are perpetually on site and will be able to lead you through the different stages of your project mission and greet you as one of their own.
Azimut’s offers: Take a look at our internship and volunteer opportunities online: Each year we publish an array of new projects in unison with our established parters in Diego Suarez.
Tailor-made offers: If you wish to propose an internship or volunteer project that falls under your general interests and/or your area of expertise, Azimut will put you in contact with the suitable Malagasy organisation or NGO and shape you a project à la carte.
