Centre for Alternative Technology: Short and Long Term Volunteers Placements
The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) offers solutions to some of the most serious challenges facing the planet and the human race, such as climate change, pollution and the waste of precious resources. They demonstrate practical ways of addressing these problems. Leading by example, they aim to show that living a more sustainable life is not only easy to do but can provide a better quality of life. Volunteers are extremely important to their work at CAT, their achievements over the last 30 years simply wouldn't have happened without the hard work, inspiration and dedication of the initial idealists who founded the centre in 1975.
