United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI): Ad-hoc Volunteer Placements
UNICRI offers to a restricted number of undergraduate students the opportunity to be exposed to the work of the United Nations in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice and gain a better understanding of the United Nations goals, standards and procedures. The undergraduate students will be attached to one project/activity of UNICRI and carry out support tasks under the supervision of a staff member - the supervisor. UNICRI Volunteer Placements are offered on a three-to-six-month basis. The attendance can be either full-time (i.e five days a week) or part-time, according to a schedule agreed upon with the supervisor.

To qualify as a UNICRI Volunteer, at the time of application and during the placement the candidate must be enrolled in a undergraduate school and follow a degree programme on: Law, Criminology, Criminal Justice; or Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Public Administration, Communication Sciences, Development Studies.
