United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS): Internship Programme

The UNOPS Internship Programme provides an opportunity for outstanding graduate and post-graduate students from diverse academic backgrounds to gain exposure to what UNOPS does as part of the United Nations. Interns use their theoretical knowledge in practical work assignments. All the divisions at Headquarters and the decentralized offices have worked with interns specializing in various professional fields.

Application process and requirements
The following minimum qualifications are required: - Currently engaged in studies leading to an advanced university degree, such as a Masters or PhD; - Specialized in a field relevant to the mission and work of UNOPS; - Fluency in English is essential; working knowledge of a second UN language is an asset; - Ability to adapt to new environments and to establish and maintain good working relations with individuals of different cultural backgrounds.
